Access to a constant supply of water is extremely important for the welfare of the colony. Water is used by the bees for working the nectar they collect and especially for ensuring proper thermoregulation inside the hive. The encroaching climate change worldwide that tends to create hotter and more arid environments for the bees requires reliable and continuous sources of water for the colonies.
